Phoenix Chamber Choir

The Phoenix Chamber Choir is one of Canada’s finest vocal ensembles, renowned for diverse and eclectic programming from the Renaissance to the contemporary, and commissions from Canadian and international composers. The choir was winner and 3-time finalist in the European Broadcasting Union’s Let The Peoples Sing competition and 13-time winner at the National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. Phoenix Chamber Choir is heard regularly on radio across North America, Europe and Australia.

Graeme Langager is director of Choral Activities at the University of British Columbia School of Music. Well known as a clinician and guest conductor, he is an active composer and arranger. He has performed throughout Europe and across North America, appearing in such venues as St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
