Zlatomir Fung won the Gold Medal at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition, the first U.S. cellist to win the Gold Medal in over thirty years, and the youngest to ever achieve this honor.
Zlatomir Fung appeared as soloist with the Juilliard Orchestraconducted by Itzhak Perlman at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and made recital debuts at New York’s Merkin concert hall and in Washington, DC’s Kennedy Centre. A 2016 Presidential Scholar for the Arts, Zlatomir Fung won First Prizes at the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York, the Schoenfeld International String Competition in China, and the George Enescu International Cello Competition in Romania.

Richard Fu is an aspiring recitalist with an affinity for vocal and stringrepertoire, and a special interest in opera and new music. In addition to his proficiency in solo keyboard repertoire, Richard is a gifted collaborative pianist. He has participated in masterclasses with Renée Fleming, Anne Sofie von Otter, Antonio Pappano, Thomas Adès, Maxim Vengerov, Martin Fröst, and others. Last season, he performed recitals with Zlatomir Fung, as well as an extensive thirty-concert tour across the United States with violinist Timothy Chooi.
