The Sitkovetsky Trio is an exceptional piano trio. Thoughtful and committed interpretation brings them critical acclaim and invitations to perform in major concert halls: Amsterdam Concertgebouw; Frankfurt Alte Oper; Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels; Musée du Louvre, Paris; l’Auditori Barcelona; Wigmore Hall, London; and Lincoln Center, New York.

Recently the Sitkovetsky Trio received the BBC Music Magazine Chamber Music Award. They are first prize-winners of the International Commerzbank Chamber Music Award and recipients of both the NORDMETALL Chamber Music Award at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and the Philharmonia-Martin Chamber Music Award.

The Sitkovetsky Trio has recorded under Wigmore Live and BIS labels. Their album of Mendelssohn and Beethoven Trios was awarded a Diapason D’Or ARTE, and their recording of Ravel and Saint-Saens Trios received a Supersonic Award from Pizzicato Magazine.

Alexander Sitkovetsky plays a Stradivari violin (Cremona, 1697) and Isang Enders plays a cello by Carlo Tononi (Venice, 1720); both instruments have been kindly loaned by the J. & A. Beare Violin Society.
