About the CRS

The Coast Recital Society is a non-profit society dedicated to the presentation of the finest recitals and chamber music for Sunshine Coast audiences. Concerts take place at the 270-seat Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt, on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast – a forty-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, near Vancouver, to Langdale (via BC Ferries).

For over 40 years, the Coast Recital Society has brought several of the most renowned artists of the international classical music world to the Sunshine Coast. This small but mighty organization is recognized as one of the finest BC concert presenters outside the lower mainland.

The Coast Recital Society is currently led by Artistic Director Denise Ball.
