Still in his teens, Kevin Chen is a miraculous young musician with a flourishing international career. He has taken first prize at the world’s most distinguished piano competitions, including the Franz Liszt in Budapest in 2021, Geneva in 2022 and the Arthur Rubinstein in Tel Aviv in 2023. He’s been named one of the Top 30 Canadian Classical Musicians by the CBC and one of “100 Remarkable Canadians” by Maclean’s Magazine. He’s played at the 20th-annual International Chopin and his Europe Festival in Warsaw, at New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Smith Square Hall and Taipei’s National Concert Hall. He’s performed with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Montreal Symphony.
