The Coast Recital Society encourages the study of classical music on the Sunshine Coast by awarding annual scholarships to local music students who are studying classical music. Funds for these scholarships are derived from unused tickets returned for resale, as well as the proceeds from the sale of CDs.

Through our Artists in the Community program, musicians who perform in our main series perform in schools and eldercare residences on the Sunshine Coast, and offer master classes to gifted Sunshine Coast music students.

We also collaborate with several local and regional music organizations in the presentation of music events, including the International Choral Kathaumixw and the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Performing Arts.
